Chilling and yet darkely soothing, this album presents a perfect space between the worlds of dungeon synth and dark ambient music. You can feel the sense of weight and draconic grandeur from the slowness of the music as also the premonition of something violent or ominous that's about to happen in the first part, and something hopeful and liberating in the second. The artist behind Fogweaver and several other projects has certainly hit another sweet spot with this album.
