Vandalorum is honestly just incredible, every album I listen to blows me away. There's such a unique sound to each track, and I think it pushes the genre in an innovative way. Somehow Vandalorum wrangles all sorts of sounds into a cohesive masterpiece and I'm always in awe.

A dreamy, beguiling, nostalgic dungeon synth quest through the shires. But, it's so much more than that. The LP incorporates some unique key changes, field recordings and a lot of Mort Garson style synth work. It sometimes reminds me of old 70's PG horror soundtracks. The record is addictive melancholy inspiration. The ideal music for accompanying the dawning morning of an epic adventure.

I've been listening to this album for quite some time on YouTube now, and I knew the time had come that I owned it for myself. Compendium Reliquiae by DIM is just an amazing, beautiful album. I genuinely cannot describe it in any way that does it justice. It is like you are exploring old ruins, contemplating the finite mortal coils, and what came before you. It is ambient, relaxing, and contemplative. Please give this album a listen.
